Clarence H. Johnson, 60, of Jeffersonville, IN, died Sunday, January 15, 2006, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
He was a native of Harlan County, KY, he worked for 30 years for Kerns Bakery, but most recently worked for 9 years with Little Debbie. He was Mason, a Kentucky Colonel, an avid University of Kentucky fan and a beloved husband, father, brother and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Terisha Johnson, Jeffersonville, IN; two sons, Steve Johnson, Jeffersonville, IN; Earl (Chris) Dever, Floyds Knobs, IN; two daughters, Nancy (Gary) Yeager, Harrodsburg, KY; Nikki (Matt) Taylor, Clarksville, IN; eleven grandchildren, Megan (Justin) Ellis; Amanda Yeager; Matt Yeager; Aaron Johnson; Amanda Jones; Sydney Jones; Morgan Jones; Kevyn Jones; Alex Taylor; Brian Enders; Brady Enders; three sisters, Alta (Robert) Taylor, Texas; Linda Irby, South Carolina; Carol (Charles) Freeman, Kentucky; and a brother, Dale (Sylvia) Johnson, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clem and Evelyn Johnson, and two brothers, Jack and Joe Johnson.
Visitation will also be from 1 8 PM Wednesday, January 17, 2006, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. James Harley.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Diabetes Foundation.
