Walter E. Meyer, age 85, Henrico Rd, Harrodsburg, died Saturday, January 21, 2006 at his home.
Born July 16, 1920 in Troy, OH, he was the son of the late Edward L. and Mathilda (Sherman) Meyer and the widower of Doris Mercer Meyer. He served during World War II in the Army Air Corps. He was a retired Production Supervisor for Hobart Corporation in Troy, OH and a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church. He also was a member of the Haggin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include: one daughter, Janet M. Pyle of Harrodsburg, KY; two grandsons, Brian Pyle, and Chris Pyle both of Harrodsburg, KY; two great grandchidren, Ashley And Zach Pyle.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Harrodsburg by Father Joseph Muench. Burial will be in the , with Military Rites.
Pallbearers will be Brian and Chris Pyle, Dr. Robert Hoyng, Kinnard Preston, Mike Hale and Ezra Tatum.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 24 6 - 8 PM. and Wednesday prior to Service at the Church.
