Edgar Wilson Baker, age 89, 272 Calvary Rd., Harrodsburg, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at his residence.
Born September 4, 1916 in Frankfort, KY, he was the son of the late Lindsay Thomas and Anna (Downey) Baker and the wife of Mary Schuler Whitenack Baker. He was an Army veteran of WW II & the Korean war and was a retired Foreman at Green River Steel in Owensboro, KY.
Survivors other than his wife include: two sons, Edgar Baker Jr. of Harrodsburg, KY, & Lynn Baker of Nashville, TN; one brother, James Baker, Lexington; 2 step sons, Greg & Charles Whitenack; 6 step daughter, Angela Carter, Trish, Mary Beth, and Georgetta Whitenack, Cynthia Rose & Lisa Lake; he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Glynn Baker .
Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Sat., Jan. 28, 2006 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Father Joseph Muench.
