Melba Wilson
Melba Wilson, age 82, Lexington Rd, Harrodsburg, widow of Carlos Sr. Wilson Sr., died Sunday, February 26, 2006 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Ctr., Harrodsburg, KY.
Born August 6, 1923 in Breckenridge County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Leah (Gray) Pullen.
She was a retired Food Service Manager for the Jefferson County School District and a member of the Shively Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two sons: C.W. (Linda) Wilson, Jr. of Harrodsburg, KY, Lawrence (Cindy) Wilson of Lexington, KY; Eight Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren; one sister: Roberta (Delbert) Howard of Madrid, KY; and two brothers: Donald (Martha) Pullen of FL, Terry (Bobbi) Pullen of Hawsville, KY;
Predeceased by a brother William Pullen.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 1 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by her sons C.W. Wilson Jr. and Lawrence E. Wilson. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Michael Lynn Gammon, Benjamin Joel Wilson, Mark Edward Wilson, Stephen George Wilson, John Lawrence Wilson, Christopher Joseph Wilson, James Andrew Wilson. Honorary Bearers are: Matthew Lynn Gammon, Joshua Lee Gammon and Gavin Joel Wilson.
Visitation will be after 5 pm Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.
