Ruby Gordon Robards, age 90, Wesley Village, 1125 Lexington Rd., Wilmore, died Monday, March 13, 2006 at Wesley Village.
Born April 22, 1915 in Nicholasville, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Alex and Arizonia (Bristow) Clarke and was the widow of Hugh Jefferson Robards.
Mrs. Robards was a Bookkeeper for Bluegrass Rural Electric and the American Red Cross, and had served as the Brandenburg City Clerk for 20 years. She was a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church, the Yates-Spilman Sunday School Class, and the Beulah Clay Circle.
Survivors include: one sister, Mattie Clarke Skidmore of Nicholasville, KY; a niece and a nephew; and special friends, Mike & Meg Barnard of Harrodsburg, KY.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, at Spring Hill Cemetery by Jimmy Owens. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
