Sherman Hogue , age 82, Harrodsburg, husband of Dorothy Louise Franklin Hogue , died Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born December 15, 1923 in Boyle County, KY, he was the son of the late Charles E and Laura Jane (Goode) Hogue. He was a salesman of farm implements for Shewmaker, Davenport, , Saulfey and Farmers Supply. Sherman was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church and belonged to the Masonic Lodge #777 F&AM.
Survivors include: his wife: Dorothy Louise (Franklin) Hogue, one daughter: Donna G. Hogue Raider of Harrodsburg, KY and one son: Sherman Douglas Doug Hogue of Merrimack, NH; one sister: Ruby Fisher of Austin, TX; and one brother: Jesse Hogue of Danville, KY; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 25 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Phil Williams and Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Friday, March 24 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
