Ruth Trisler

Ruth Trisler, age 81, Harrodsburg, widow of Calvin Trisler, died Friday, March 24, 2006 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.

Born November 1, 1924 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Laura (Keightley) Shirley. She was a homemaker and a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two daughters: Cri (Tim) Conley of Portsmouth, OH, Ann (David) Taylor of Harrodsburg, KY and one son: Gary (Michele) Harris of Lexington, KY; a sister: Wanda Lane, two Half Brothers, Buddy Shirley of Harrodsburg, KY and David Shirley of Louisville, KY; two Half Sisters, Brenda Mccrystal of Corbin, KY and Fannie Pinkston of Harrodsburg, KY; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. She Preceded in death by a daughter: Tish Hyde, two sons: Craig Harris and Kevin Trisler, her step mother: Willa Lewis Shirley, .

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Monday, March 27 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are: John David Taylor, Chuck Taylor, Harold Baker, Mike Humphrey, Bill Conley, Bentley Lane and Larry Lane.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 26 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Monday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Kosair Childrens Hospital.
