WILLIAM HAROLD BAILEY

William Harold Bailey, age 70, 2086 New Dixville Road, Harrodsburg, husband of Hattie Jane Bugg Bailey died Saturday, July 5, 2003. Born December 15, 1924 in Mercer. Co. he was the son of the late Oscar and Bonnie Gertrude Devine Bailey, a retired farmer, a Mercer County Magistrate for four terms, a bus driver for the Mercer Co. School System, a former employee of the Kentucky State Highway Department, and a member of the Benton Baptist Church.

Survivors other than his wife include two sons, John Charles Bailey and Danny Gerald Bugg, both of Harrodsburg; two sisters Viola Sims and Virginia Lay, both of Harrodsburg. He was preceded in death by a brother Henry Bailey.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rev. James Harley and Tim Gray. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 4:00 PM and Monday after 7:30 AM at the chapel.

Pallbearers are Henry Calvin Gibson, Chuckie Bugg, Marshall Sims Jr., Robert Gilliland, Birdie Bugg and Tommy Vaught

Honorary bearers are Crystal Nevius, Bryan Nevius, Nicholas Craig, Bailey Nevius, John Paul Bailey, Amanda Bailey, Kaylie Hulbert, and Terry Bugg.
