Obituary of Jessica Victoria Hopkins

Jessica Victoria Hopkins, age 17, 750 Jackson Pk, Harrodsburg, died Saturday, April 29, 2006, in an motor vehicle collision on highway 152 East of Harrodsburg, KY. Born February 19, 1989 in Columbus, GA, she was the daughter of Jessica Hendley Hopkins and the late Roger Hopkins. She was a Student at Mercer County High where she was a member of the FFA, a former Cheerleader and Gymnast and was a mentor in the PALS program. She also worked part time at Shakertown at Pleasant Hill as a server. She attended the Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church. Survivors include: guardians, Rhonda and Tony Smith of Mercer County; a brother, Joshua Hopkins of McDowell, KY; Paternal Grandmother, Linda Williams of Richmond, KY; Paternal Grandfather, Ronnie Hopkins of McDowell, KY; Parternal Great Grandparents, Harold and Annie Watson of Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wed. (5/3/2006), at the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY. Burial will be in the Hopkins Cemetery, McDowell, KY. Visitation will be Monday, May 1 after 3:30PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg and Tuesday after 5:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home in Martin.
