Obituary of Kenneth James Preston

Kenneth James Preston, age 74, 149 Dunn Ln., Harrodsburg, died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at UK Medical Ctr., Lexington, KY. Born November 19, 1931 in Lexington, KY, he was the son of the late John and Ella Marie (Purvis) Preston. He was the Minister of the Bohon Church of Christ and had served several area churches over the past fifty one years. He was also a retired employee of I B M. Survivors include: his wife: Sarah Janice (Wood) Preston, three daughters: Janis (David) R. Spicer of Liberty, KY, Karen (David) Meadows of Louisville, KY, Annette Marie Preston of Harrodsburg, KY; and one son: Michael (Teresa) A. Preston of Fort Knox, KY; one brother: John A. Preston of Harrodsburg, KY; Grandchildren, Four (4) ; Great Grandchidren, Three (3) . He was predeceased by three brothers: Paul, Everett and Harold Preston. Funeral services will be held Monday, 02:30 PM, (5/8/2006), at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Julius Hovan and David Tapp. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa. Pallbearers: Jerry Burns, Winston Preston, Jack Preston, Frank Preston, Todd Walls and Scot Walls.
