Margie Taylor, age 72, 838 Watershore Drive, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Born November 28, 1933 in Jones Co., MS, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Anna Mae (Herrington) Maxey and was the widow of Buford Taylor. She served in the U.S. Air Force, was co-owner of Buford Taylor Construction, and was a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Sandy (David) Murphy and Terri (Leslie) Williams, both of Harrodsburg, KY; one son, David C. (Ann) Taylor of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister, Virgie Lofton of Houston, TX; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Wed., June 7, 2006, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Lewis Walter and Jerel Coffey. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are grandsons: John David Taylor, Wes Murphy, John Elliott, Chuck Taylor, Josh & Clay Murphy.
Visitation will be at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel Tues., June 6, 2006 after 5:00 PM and Wed. after 7:30 AM.
Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund.
