Obituary of Sarah Will Holliday

SARAH WILL HOLLIDAY Sarah Will Holliday, age 90, widow of the late Onis Holliday, of Cardinal Meadows, 851 South College Street, died Thursday, July 17th at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center after an illness. Born August 29, 1914 in Washington Co., she was the daughter of the late Ben C. and Hanna Robinson Hendren, She was a former employee of Palm Beach in Danville, the Danville Laundry, the former Danville Motor Lodge and was a member of the Danville Church of Christ. Survivors include a granddaughter Gay and her husband Harold Winters of Atlanta, GA., three grandchildren John Allen, Amanda Ryan, and Kyle Andrew Winters, all of Atlanta, and one nephew Danny Noel of Harrodsburg. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Allen Holliday and three sisters, Beva Kennedy, Ada Lee Styers, and Berthie Best. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 19th in the Spring Hill Cemetery by Gary Bagwell. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to one’s favorite charity. The Ransdell Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
