Louis Elmer King Obituary

Louis Elmer King, age 76, Hwy 33 South, Burgin, husband of Janet Austin King, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 at his home in Burgin, KY.


Born September 9, 1929 in Burgin, KY, he was the son of the late Homer and Mary Bell (Harlow) King. He retired from the maintenance department at Corning Glass Inc. He attended the Burgin Baptist Church.


Survivors include: his wife: Janet (Austin) King, three daughters: Carol McAskill of Lexington, KY, Vicki King of Burgin, KY and Kimberly Woford of Princeton, KY and one son: Bradley King of Burgin, KY; three sisters: Mae Arnett and Ruby Kent of Louisville, KY and Helen Claunch of Harrodsburg, KY, Seven Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.


Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 6 at the Burgin Memorial Garden by Bob Williams. No public visitation


Pallbearers are: Scott, George and Bradley Scott Woford, Jim, Jamie and Chris McAskill,
