Charlene Hurt, age 59, 210 Azalea St., Harrodsburg, died Monday, September 4, 2006 at her residence.

Born November 23, 1946 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Osburne Mattingly and Bernell (Freeman) Gammon, Harrodsburg. She was a Former Food Mart Manager in Eminence, KY and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

Survivors other than her mother include: a special friend, Michelle Mullins; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ann Ross, and a brother, James Osburne Mattingly.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 7 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Robert Defoor and Lewis Walter. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

Pallbearers are Dennis, Ronnie, Donnie, Shawn, and Shane Sallee, and David Tyler.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday after 7:30 AM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
