Emma McRay Teater, age 88, Harrodsburg, widow of Cohen Teater, died Monday, September 18, 2006 at the Charleston Health Care Ctr., Danville, KY.

Born January 7, 1918 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Amanda (Black) McCray. She was a retired hairdresser.

Survivors include: a daughter: Gloria Teater Jennings of Lexington, KY; a sister: Naomi Anderson of Columbus, IN; and a brother: Emmerson McCray of Harrodsburg, KY;

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 21 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dann Masden and Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 21 from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
