Sara R. Lester, age 95, Campbellsville, KY, formerly of Harrodsburg, died Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY.
Born April 26, 1911 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mattie (Leonard) Russell, and the widow of Thomas Lester. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter: Wilma (George) Gaddie of Campbellsville, KY; and two sons: Wallace (Wanda) Lester of Louisville, KY, Devon (Patsy) Lester of Mackville, KY; grandchildren: Marta Boswell, Carol Hadley, Jane Wheatley, David Gaddie, Ray Gaddie, and Rebecca Ford; five Great Grandchidren, eight Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson: Steve Stuart and one sister: Grace Claunch, and four brothers: Charlie B., John, Marvin and Harvey Russell.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, October 3, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. James Harley with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Monday, October 2, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
