Billy Dean Sanders, age 73, 626 Greenbriar Dr., Harrodsburg, died Monday, October 16, 2006 at , Harrodsburg, KY.
Born October 23, 1932 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Russell and Vernetta Rae (Springate) Sanders and was married to Joyce Houchins Sanders. He served in the U. S. Navy and was a retired employee of Corning Glass and Phillips Lighting.
Survivors include: his wife: Joyce (Houchins) Sanders, two daughters: Virginia (Thomas) Helbling of Lexington, KY, Joy (Eugene) Myatt of Mt. Heron, KY; and one son: Jimmy (Lora Ann) Sanders of Harrodsburg, KY; Grandchildren: Russ Sanders, Jessica Helbling, Dee Dee O'Hara, Adam Myatt, Jason Sanders, and Justin Myatt.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dr. Robert Defoor. Burial with Military Rites in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Russ Sanders, Jessica Helbling, Dee Dee O'Hara, Adam Myatt, Jason Sanders, Justin Myatt, Heather Sanders, Brendan O'Hara.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 18 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. and Thursday prior to Service at Funeral Chapel
Memorial contributions may be sent to Mercer County Little League or the Mercer Humane Society.
