Flora L. Cassell, age 93, 220 Parson St., Harrodsburg, died Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Born January 23, 1913 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Henry B. and Alice (Lillard) Cassell. She was a retired teacher having taught in the Burgin and Harrodsburg School systems. She was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church, the KY and Mercer Retired Teachers Associations, and was a graduate of Transylvania University where she was a Sigma Delta.

Survivors include: 2 cousins, Kristen M. Mangino and Jofreda Mikelson, both of Washington state; a special friend, Joan Brook-Smith, Harrodsburg.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, October 12, at Harrodsburg Christian Church Chapel by Dann Masden.
