Flonnie Marie Godbey, age 85, formerly of Mercer County, died Friday, October 20, 2006 at Island Lake Center, Longwood, FL.
Born September 30, 1921 in Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of the late Simon Thomas and Mary Frances (York) Douglas. She was the widow of Claudie B. Godbey. She was a Homemaker and a long time member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three daughters: Ivadean Preston of Harrodsburg, KY, Nannie Guthrie of Winter Springs, FL, Faustine Ames of Mercer County, KY; and one son: Lester B. Godbey of Nashville, Michigan.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 25, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Reverend Richard Easterling. Burial will be in the Hopewell Baptist Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Grandsons, , , , , , , .
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 24 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. and Wednesday prior to Service at Funeral Chapel
