Luther William Billy Watts, age 69, Harrodsburg, widower of Bonnie Helen Watts, died Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born March 7, 1937 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Easter EvaMae (Patrick) Watts. He was a retired explosive technician at Mercer Stone Company and a member of the Shakertown Baptist Church.
Billy was one of eleven children, he is survived by: two sons: Luther William Watts Jr. and Alvin R. Watts ; a sister: Patricia Phillips all of Harrodsburg and two brothers: Leslie Watts of Walton, KY, David Watts of Lawrenceburg, KY; a Grandson, Matthew Aaron Watts and a Granddaughter, Katilyn D. Watts.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM, Wednesday, November 8 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Harley and George Dye with burial in the New Providence Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Kevin Watts, Les Watts, Jeff Watts, Edward Gary Peavler, Delbert Phillips and Lawrence Allen Watts. Honorary Bearers are: Earl Phillips, Keith Watts, David Bruce Peavler, Bobby Peavler, Aubrey D. Peavler, Hubert Peavler, James Watts, Mike Driskell, Jack Nelson, Terry Nelson and Kenny Nelson
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 7 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
