Elizabeth P. Culton, Harrodsburg, died Friday, November 3, 2006 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY. A native Greensburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Franklin and Lena (Salmon) Patrum. She was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church and a retired elementry schoool teacher. She attended Western Kentucky University and began her teaching career in Green County and retired from the Harrodsburg school system. Survivors include: her husband: Daniel J. Culton of nearly 60 years, one daughter: Gerry (Jody) Sharpe of Danville, KY; and one son: Thomas (Janie) Culton of Greenville, KY; two sisters: Dixie (H. D. ) Jasper of Paris, KY; Frankie (Dr. Milton) Shuffett of Lexington, KY; two Grandsons: Samuel Culton and Lin (Erin) Sharpe and one Nephew: Tony (Angela) Taylor and three great nieces. Lib was a person of many talents and interests that encompassed not only her beloved family, but included politics, bridge, art, reading, genealogy, arranging flowers for friends and neighbors, and the world of the internet. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, at Harrodsburg United Methodist Church with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, and Wednesday 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the Church. Memorial contributions may be sent to Methodist Children´s Home, Box 749, Versailles, KY 40383 or the Mercer County Library, Lexington Street, Harrodsburg, KY 40330
