Elwyn Wilkinson Vaught Elwyn “Peanut” Vaught, age 66, of Harrodsburg, husband of Dottie Grigsby Vaught, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born May 16, 1940 in Boyle County, KY, he was the son of the late Oliver Martin and Lois (Grubbs) Vaught. He was a retired Dairy Farmer and a member of The Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife: Dorothy Dottie Grigsby Vaught, a daughter: Denise (Mark) Edwards of Harrodsburg, KY and two sons: David (Vicki) Vaught of Casey County and Dennis Vaught of Harrodsburg; two sisters: Helen (Eldred) Taylor of Louisville, KY and Joan Cooper of Lexington, KY; and three brothers: Gene (Jo Ann) Vaught of CA, Paul (Linda) Vaught of Somerset, KY and Jere (Lois Ann) Vaught of Harrodsburg, KY; Five Grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 28 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. Harold Best and burial will be in the Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Tucker Vaught, Oliver Kyle Vaught, Paul Vaught, Jere Vaught, Dennis Vaught, David Vaught. Honorary Bearers are: George & Sue Buchanan, Mark Edwards, Vickie Vaught, Traci Vaught, Kelsey Edwards, Avery Edwards, Emily Vaught and Neices & Nephews Visitation will be Wednesday, December 27 after 5:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund or Gideon Memorial Bibles.
