Obituary of Cora Martin Royalty

Cora Martin Royalty Cora Martin Royalty, age 97 of McDowell Place, Danville, the widow of G. Marshall Royalty, died Monday, December 25, 2006. Born March 24, 1909 in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Johnson) Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She was a graduate of the Harrodsburg High School and attended Hamilton College an affiliate of Transylvania University. Survivors include: one son: James Price (Polly) Royalty of Harrodsburg, KY; two daughters: Jane Marshall (James M.) Gilbert of Livingston, TX and Vivian Craig of Owensboro, KY; Seven Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 30 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Phil Williams and Dann Masden officiating, with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are her grandchildren Jay Royalty, Anne Royalty Lane, Jedaiah Lane, Laura Gilbert Duhamel, Lisa Gilbert, Mike Shea, Will Craig, Susannah Craig and the Late Maggie Craig Villaflor. Visitation will be Saturday, December 30 from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to Harrodsburg Christian Church.
