Obituary of David Bruce McConnell

David Bruce McConnell, age 63, Danville, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007.
Born February 10, 1943 in Anderson, IN, he was the son of Janice Legg McConnell and the late Ray Oliver McConnell. Bruce was a graduate of the University of Kansas and served in the U S Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired salesman for the Knowlagent Company of Atlanta, Ga. and a member of the United Methodist Church. Bruce also served on the Advisory Board for both Lexington Community College and the University of Kentucky
Survivors include: his wife: Brenda Sue (Clark) McConnell, and five sons: Matthew G. McConnell of Atlanta, GA, Christopher R. McConnell of Lexington, KY, Duane Bell of Danville, KY, Mark Bell of Clarksville, IN, Thomas W. Freeman of Danville, KY; one daughter: Tierra Freeman of Kansas City, KA; two sisters: Jean Villa of Birmingham, MI, Kay Maloney of Louisville, and two brothers: Kent McConnell of Granville, Patrick McConnell of Goshen, IN; and 11 Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Friday, January 5 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Gary Story. Burial in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, with military honors.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 4 after 5:00 PM. and Friday prior to Service at Funeral Chapel.
