Merrill Nichols Nicky Long, age 46, died Sunday at his home after an illness.
He is survived by two daughters; Leslie Long, Harrodsburg and Megan Morris of Lexington, his mother; Thelma Long of Harrodsburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Long.
Funeral services will be 11 am Wed. Jan 10 at the Harrodsburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he was a member. He was active in Nicaraguan Prison Ministry. Visitation will be 10 am Wed. at the Church.
The family request gifts be made to the Nicaraguan Prison Ministry, c/o Wanda Goerz, P.O. Box 4560 Lexington, KY 40544. Ransdell Funeral Chapel in charge of Arrangements.
