Everett Norman Tharpe, age 71, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.
Born October 30, 1935 in Boyle County, KY, he was the son of the late Jessie D. and Nellie (Broughton) Tharpe. Survivors include: four sisters: Wilma Lucas and Silvia A Tharpe both of Harrodsburg, KY, Lucille Rocknew of IL, Mildred Underwood of Danville, KY; two brothers: Duke Clayton Tharpe of Lawrenceburg, KY and Jessie Tharpe Jr. of Danville, KY; Several Neices & Nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Violet Jepsen.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 17 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: James Mitchell, Zac Underwood, Chad Underwood, Keith Lucas.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 16 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
