Goldie Lewis
Goldie Lewis, age 72, Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at his home.
Born September 8, 1934 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Golie and Minnie (Robinson) Lewis. He served in the U. S. Army, was a Dairy Farmer and a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife: Cora Ann (Bourne) Lewis, two daughters: Charlotte Gail (J. D.) Whitis of Harrodsburg, KY, Linda (Brian) Sherman of Gibsonton, FL; and one son: Ricky Dale (Lynne) Lewis of Springfield, KY; two brothers: Goodloe Lewis, and Marvin (Peggy) Lewis both of Harrodsburg, grandchildren: Krystian Brown, Richard Lewis, Nicole Lewis, Tyler Sherman.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, January 22, at Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, by Gilbert Robinson. There will be no public Visitation.
Pallbearers are: Jeff Lewis, Bobby Lewis, Kevin Lewis, Daryl Lewis, Haldon Lewis, Randy Lewis, James Merchant, Jr., and Frankie Robinson.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass, 208 Steele St., Frankfort, KY 40601.
Ransdell Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
