Obituary of Eileen D. Gritton

Eileen D Gritton, age 82, 381 College Manor, Harrodsburg, died Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Harrodsburg Health Care Center., Harrodsburg, KY. Born July 4, 1924 in Washington County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Grant and Ida (Darnall) Drury and the widow of Houston Gritton. She was a Homemaker and member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, the Glad Hand Sunday School Class and the Lite and Lively Group of the Chruch. Survivors include: two daughters: Coleen (Bobby) Thompson of Harrodsburg, KY, Rita (Alan) Mallory of Louisville, Grandchildren: Nichole Coker, David Thompson, Nelson Gritton, Michel Barnett, Sarah Mallory, Adam Mallory, and Nine Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son: Wendell Gritton. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 30, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Larry Camic and Daryl Catlett. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: David Thompson, Nelson Gritton, Greg Coker, Brad Barnett, Will Coker, Adam Mallory, Chase Barnett, Mason Thompson and the Glad Hand Sunday School Class.
