Joyce Jane Messer, age 55, Shelbyville, died Monday, February 12, 2007 at Jewish Hospital, Shelbyville, KY.
Born May 21, 1951 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of Lula Turpin Lister of Shelbyville and the late Edgar Lister.
Other survivors include: one daughter: Tammy Murphy, and one son: Jessey Lister both of Shelbyville, KY; four brothers: Earl Lister of Junction City, Elwood Lister, Danny Lister, Carter Lister all of Harrodsburg, KY; three grandchildren: Cordelle Lister, Janekwa Murphy, Kindria Murphy.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, 2/15/2007, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Gary Allen with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation from and prior to the service Thursday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Bearers will be Cliff and Cody Lister, Gary Murphy, Brock Sims, W. T. Peavler, and Ricky Burns.
