Obituary of Lucille Davenport Hurst

Lucille Davenport Hurst, age 83, 544 Beaumont Ave., Harrodsburg, widow of Charles Coffee Terrell Hurst, died Thursday, March 1, 2007 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.
Born February 27, 1924 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Sara Ellen (Patterson) Davenport. She was a homemaker and a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Chruch. Survivors include: one daughter: Sara Kay (Richard) Sutherland of Frankfort, KY and three sons: Ronald T. Hurst, Glenn K. (Marsha) Hurst, Perry G. Hurst all of Harrodsburg, a brother: Roy Davenport of New Albany, IN and seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 4 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Robert DeFoor and John David Lane, with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Ronald Hurst, Glenn Hurst, Perry Hurst, Richard Sutherland, Eric Keller, Tony Robinson.
Honorary bearers: Harold Davis and Members of the Christine Montgomery Sunday School Class.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 3 from 5:00 PM to8:00 PM and Sunday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Christine Montgomery´s Sunday School Class C/O Harrodsburg Baptist Church, 312 S. Main St., Harrodsburg, KY 40330 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
