Beatrice Ransdell, age 76, Salvisa, husband of Ralph E. Ransdell, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Born December 22, 1930 in Winchester, KY, she was the daughter of the late Ronnie and Nellie (Griffith) Cosby. She was a member of the Union Christian Church. She loved farming and her tractor.
Survivors include: her husband: Ralph E. Ransdell, and two sons: Tex Cosby of Nicholasville, KY and Kenneth N. Owens of Lexington, KY; Nine Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 10 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Johnny Hockersmith with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Friday, March 9 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of the Blue Grass.
