BEATRICE WATTS BOTTOM STANFORTH Beatrice Watts Bottom Stanforth, age 87 widow of Taylor Bottom and John Stanforth died Friday, August 29th at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center. Born October 26, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Cordelia Cummins Watts. She retired from Cricketeer, a Kentucky Colonel and member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, an avid Kentucky Wildcat and Cincinnati Reds Fan. Survivors include a son Gilbert Bruce Bottom and his wife Irene, Lexington; a step-son, Don Reid, Las Vegas; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Yocum, Lawrenceburg; two granddaughters, Terri (Trippy) Clark, Flemingsburg, and Mickey (Jeff) Miller, Lexington; seven great grandchildren, Courtney, Chip and Cole Clark, Flemingsburg and Mackenzie, Morgan, Landon, and Kennedy Miller, Lexington., a step grandson, Nick Reid and his wife, Lori, Lexington, and a step great granddaughter, Brittany Reid, Lexington. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Bowen Bottom, 4 brothers, Elvin, Marvin, Stanley and Ernest Watts and a sister, Iris Lay. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 2nd in the Spring Hill Cemetery by Rev. David Collier and close friend, Marvin Robinson. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers are Jeff Miller, Trippy Clark, Hughes Jones, Sammy Carr, Eddie Lay, and Bill Zopff.
