Lelia Belle Sheperson, age 92, Harrodsburg, widow of Robert Sheperson died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.
Born June 21, 1914 in Bohon, KY, she was the daughter of the late Harvey J. and Mary Margaret (Sanford) Burns. She was a homemaker and a member of the Magnolia Street Christian Church.
Survivors include: one daughter: Vena Preston and one son: Gerald (Linda) Sheperson both of Harrodsburg, one sister: Grace Myers of Harrodsburg, and15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sons: Vincent, Condit, and Robert Lee Sheperson.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Monday (April 9, 2007) at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane and John Kesel with burial in the Bohon Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: Scott Sheperson, Mike Sheperson, Jon and David Preston, Mac Mayes and Alex Poulter.
The Grandchildren will serve as Honorary Bearers.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 8 after 5:00 PM and Monday prior to Service at Funeral Chapel.
