Fred Bugg, Jr., 53, 1798 Bohon Rd., Harrodsburg, husband of Etta Whittaker Bugg, died Thursday, May 10, 2007 at his residence. Born August 28, 1953 in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of the late Fred Bugg Sr. and Lula Mae McGinnis Bugg, Harrodsburg. He was a Florida Tile employee and had formerly worked at Hallmack of Harrodsburg. Survivors other than his mother and wife include: a son, Garney Bugg of Mercer Co., KY; four sisters, Frieda (Bill) Carpenter of TN, and Gayle Yocum, Jean Bugg, and Joyce Devine, all of Harrodsburg, KY; and two brothers, Jeff (Mary) Bugg of Harrodsburg, KY, and Wayne (Sharon) Bugg of Bloomfield, KY; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Fred Bugg III, and a brother, Denzil Barnes. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 12 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Brian Burkehead with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are Garland Leathers, Scott Price, Ricky Simpson, Ritchie Sparrow, Jerry Bugg, Warren Stratton, Buddy Logue, & Scott Bugg. Honorary bearers are Steve Crane, Dan, Billy & Jesse Whittaker, James Hubbard, Gorham Campbell, Mike, Scott & Randy McGinnis, Chris Devine, Matthew & Russell Sims, Anthony Jenkins, and Travis & Daryl Bugg. Visitation will be Friday, May 11 from 6 to 9 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
