Charles “Darrell” Brock, age 70, Salvisa, husband of Dorothy Gaye Green Brock, died Sunday, May 13, 2007 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY. Born April 6, 1937 in Pulaski Co., KY, he was the son of the Clarice (Prather) Brock and late Raymond Brock. He was a farmer & cattle broker and a member of the Salvisa Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his mother include: his wife: Dorothy Gaye (Green) Brock, a daughter: Sherri (Monty) McRay and one son: Danny (Sherry) Brock both of Mercer Co.; four Grandchildren, Charissa Wade, Christen Brock, Kameron McRay and Kasey McRay; one Great Grandchild, Mila Wade; three sisters: Janie (Bobby) Lacefield of Lawrenceburg, KY, Carolyn Henson and Sharon (Dennis) Tyler both of Harrodsburg, KY; and one brother: Russell (Patty) Brock of Mercer Co Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 17 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jason Clark and John David Lane Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Anthony Hamlin, Nobel Boswell, Bruce Wade, Patrick Brock, Mathew Tyler, Kevin Henson, Greg Henson, Mark Henson. Honorary bearers are: Bobby Brock, Ottis Knox, John Alvin Goodlett, Jack Garriott, Carl Curtsinger and Llewellin Peavler Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16 after 5:00 PM and Thursday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Salvisa Baptist Church Building Fund.
