Obituary of Jesse Lawrence "Butch" Hood

Jesse Lawrence Hood, age 61, 414 N. College St, Harrodsburg, husband of Linda Gayle Shewmaker Hood, died Friday, May 18, 2007 at the Custer Regional Hospital, Custer, SD. Born October 6, 1945 in Glasgow, KY, he was the son of the late William Clayton and Mary Alta (Hudson) Hood. He served during Vietnam War in the U. S. Army. He owned and operated Kentucky Souvenir Sales and was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church. He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University where he was a Lambda Ki and member of the James Radars. He was also a member of the Danville Country Club and the Postcard and Souvenir Distributors Association. Other survivors include: two daughters, Angela (Matt) Falcone of Lexington, and Jesseca ((Daniel) Mays of Harrodsburg; one sister, Jerri Lee (Bill) Moody of Franklin, KY; four grandchildren; Danielle, Jake, Megan and Isabella. Memorial service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, May 22, at the Harrodsburg Christian Church with Phil Williams and Dann Masden officiating. The family will receive friends after 4:00 pm Tuesday at the Chapel. Memorials are strongly suggested to the Harrodsburg Christian Church, P. O.
