TIMOTHY D. STEPHENS
Timothy Daryell Stephens, 41, husband of Teresa G. Sims Stephens, of 4028 Weber Way, Lexington, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at the St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington. Born August 17, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he is the son of Donald and Wanda Stephens. He was a Line Adjuster for Osram Sylvania in Versailles, KY, a member of the Bluegrass Sportsman League in Wilmore, a graduate of Lafayette High School and a member of the Lafayette High School Football Boosters, a former baseball coach for SLYB and former soccer coach for SLSA. He was a member of the Southland Christian Church, Harrodsburg Road, Lexington. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Teresa Gail Sims Stephens, Lexington; two sons, Travis Daryell Stephens and Trent Daniel Stephens, both of Lexington; his father and mother, Donald G. and Wanda Faye King Stephens, Lancaster; two brothers Donald (Judy) Stephens, Harrodsburg and Barry (Jautanna) Stephens, Lexington; his father and mother-in-law, Gayle and Alberta Sims, Lexington; and several nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Rhonda Stephens. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday at the Southland Christian Church, Harrodsburg Road, conducted by Jon Weece. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00AM until the hour of service at the Church. Burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, Lexington. Pallbearers are Paul Abney, Paul Adams, Dax Carmickle, Jeff Carmickle, Joshua Cobb, Bob Derringer, Bill Hayhurst, Chris Lovely, Leo Mucci, Steve Kindrick, Gerald Patrick, and Robert Taylor. The Ransdell Funeral Chapel in Harrodsburg is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested Stephens Boys Fund C/O National City Bank Any Location, Lexington or Danville, Southland Christian Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
