Steve Patterson, age 49, Harrodsburg, husband of Penny Sue Pingleton Patterson, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at his home, Harrodsburg, KY. Born June 7, 1957 in Connersville, IN, he was the son of J.C. and Kathleen (McRay) Patterson. He was a co-owner and operator of Patterson Construction and a member of Burgin Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife: Penny Sue (Pingleton) Patterson, a daughter: Chelsea Loren Patterson and a son: Chad Douglas (Rebecca) Patterson; his parents: J.C. and Kathleen (McRay) Patterson, two sisters: Dedra (Tim) Springate and Tabi (Fred) Lewis all of Harrodsburg, KY; Three Nieces and Seven Nephews. Preceaded in death by a brother Kelly Douglas Patterson. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 7 at the Southside Christian Church by Harold Best, David Upchurch & Sam Stow. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are: Tim Springate, Dillon Springate, Fred Lewis, Jack Coleman, Milward Dedman, John Barber, Zac and Zane Lewis. Honorary Bearers are: Steve Kephart, J.R. Baker, H.M. Snodgrass, Tom Dick Phillips, Art Freeman, Kerry Anness, Gil Hayslett, Donnie Hayslett, Stevie Tyler, Gene Robinson, David Taylor, Larry Moore, Genie Sims, Greg Souder, Bobby Thompson, Gary Devine, Allen Whitnack, Bill Gammon,Daniel Wessling and Tom Guthrie Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6 after 5:00 PM and Thursday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40422.
