Obituary of Homer Lee Phillips

Homer Lee Phillips, age 69, 772 Kennedy Bridge Rd., Harrodsburg, widower of Mary Shelton Phillips, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY. Born March 24, 1938 in Washington Co., KY, he was the son of the late Homer Franklin and Cora Lee (Brown) Phillips. He was a farmer and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Shirleen Phillips of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Beatrice Hardin & Hattie Richardson of Harrodsburg, and Evelyn Johnson of Tampa, FL; a Foster Son, Mark Turner of Harrodsburg; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Phillips. Pallbearers are Bruce Phillips, Johnny Lakes, Eddie Horn, Josh Horn, Bill Wheeler, Mitchell Searcy, Ron Hockensmith, and Richard Lewis. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 12 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Harley Humfleetwith burial in the Burgin Memorial Garden.
