Obituary of Curtis Dale Ransdell

Curtis Dale Ransdell, age 73, Talmage-Mayo Road, Harrodsburg, husband of Anita Isham Ransdell, died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at his home.
Born January 12, 1934 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Curtis Nelson and Edith (Allen) Ransdell. He served in the Army and was retired from the maintenance department at Corning Glass Works. Curtis was also a member of the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, into Real Estate and Auctioneering, a member of the Gideons, the Masonic Lodge 777 F&AM and Vice President of the American Flint Glass Workers Union.
Survivors include: his wife: Anita (Isham) Ransdell, a daughter: Tina (Brian) Murphy and a son: Curt (Cindy) Ransdell all of Harrodsburg, KY; Eight Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers: Leon, Lewis & Kenneth Ransdell and Two grandsons: Dale & Austin Goodpaster.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Monday, July 2 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Rollin Tarter and Derek Baker. Burial will be in the Mt Pleasant Presbyterian Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are: David-Curtis Ransdell, Shannon Dean, Heather Ransdell, Darren Ransdell, Jordan Goodpaster, Hillary Ransdell, Brooke Murphy, Bradley Murphy and Steve Ransdell. Honorary Bearers are W.A. & Edna Miller, Sue & George Buchanan, Buddy & Betty Isham, Wanda & Wallace Lester, Barbara Joe & Pat Faith, Louise Dean, J.C. Patterson, Norman McRay, David Taylor, Keith Dean, Eric McGinnis, Tyler Goodlett, Christy Ransdell, Hope Ransdell and Kim Burton.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 1 after 5:00 PM and Monday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Gideon Bible Fund or the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
