Obituary of Charles Thomas Merriman

Charles Thomas Merriman, 71, of 735 Oakland Lane, Harrodsburg, husband of Edna Watts Merriman, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington.
Born November 1, 1935 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Claude B. and Bessie Sallee Merriman.
He was member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors, other than his wife, include: two daughters, Melissa Merriman and Vicki M. Davis, both of Harrodsburg; three sons, Danny and Ricky Merriman of Harrodsburg and Steve Merriman of AK; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Doyle and Helen Ryan, both of Harrodsburg, and Edith Drury of Nicholasville; two brothers, Arnold Merriman of Harrodsburg and Everett Merriman of TX; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 6, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Ty Clenny. Burial will be in Berea Christian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tommy Watts, John Willie Watts, Garnett Robinson, Bobby Long, Dale Durr and Jerry Barnett.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 5, after 5 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
