Virginia M. Huffman, age 84, 367 N. Greenville St., Harrodsburg, widow of William Foster Huffman, died Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born May 29, 1923 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Lena (Sanford) Shewmaker. She was a retired seamstress for the former Cricketeer Mfg. Co. and was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church, where she was an Elder Emeritus and a member of the Goodwill Sunday School Class.
Survivors include: one daughter, Brenda H. Stanley of Lancaster, KY; one son, Jerry Huffman of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister, Dorothy Scrogham of Harrodsburg, KY; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 10 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dann Masden and James Harley with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers are Joe Stevens, Jimmy McGlone, Bill McGlone, Bernie McGlone, Harry (Butch) Woodard, & Marvin B. (Bubby) Isham. Honorary bearers are Elders, Deacons and Goodwill S.S. Class members of Harrodsburg Christian Church.
Visitation will be Monday, July 9 from after 5:00 PM and Tuesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
