Obituary of Wiliam Alva "Boots" Miller

William Alva "Boots" Miller, 87, husband of Edna Lucille Robinson Miller, died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at the Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born April 12, 1920 in Hardin County, he was the son of the late Alva and Lora Cundiff Miller.
He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #349, Dugansville, and
Hopewell Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer, trustee and a member of various committees.
Other survivors include: a step daughter, Harriet (Jim) Coyle; three step children by a former marriage, William (Judy) Honerkamp, Naomi (Charles) Pittman, and Irene Burton; step grandchildren, Christie (Bill) Mills and Shane Coyle; step great-grandchildren, Micayah, Brianna, & Joshua Mills.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Hopewell Baptist Church by Bill Mills and Brian Burkhead with burial in Kirkwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
