Cordell Bragg, age 60, 391 Handy Pk., Harrodsburg, husband of Alma Marlow Bragg, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born September 22, 1946 in Ansted, W.VA, he was the son of the late E. R. Bragg. He served in the Army and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Junction City where he was a Deacon and former Sunday School Teacher, also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Danville, KY. Mr. Bragg was also a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and the Communication Workers of America. He was a retired technician for the Lucent Company. He served in the U. S. Army and was a graduate of the Kentucky Business College. Other survivors include: his mother: Wilda Cole Bragg of Ansted, W.VA, one daughter: Christie (William, Jr.) Knable of Greenville, SC and one son: Steven F. Bragg of Campbellsville, KY; three sisters: Rita Phillips, and Dinah Withrow both of Ansted, W.VA, Penny Cummins of WVA; Grandson, William Knable, III; Granddaughter, Alexandra Knable. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Monday, August 6 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dale Denton and Ernest Martin. Burial will be in the Danville Memorial Gardens, with Military Rites. Visitation will be Sunday, August 5 from after 6:00 PM and Monday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Junction City 1st. Baptist Church Bldg. Fund, 3860 U. S. 127 South, Danville, KY.
