Obituary of Eddie B. Reed Sr.

Eddie B. Reed Sr., age 58, 129 Sunrise Shores, Harrodsburg, husband of Brenda Goforth Reed, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born October 17, 1948 in Danville, KY, he was the son of the late Byford Durwood and Leila Mae (Terhune) Reed. He was a retired Fish Management Supervisor for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife. He was a member of the Pioneer Baptist Church and former member of the Mercer County Fish and Game Club. Mr. Reed was also an avid Fisherman, Hunter and NASCAR Fan. Survivors include: his wife: Brenda (Goforth) Reed, and a son: Eddie Reed Jr. of Lawrenceburg, KY; a Granddaughter, Kaitlyn Alexandra Reed and a Grandson: Hudson Alexander Reed. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 11 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Andrew Dyer with burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be Friday, August 10 from 6-9PM and Saturday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
