Levi Lay, age 77, 2342 Bohon Rd., Harrodsburg, husband of Agnes Wickersham Lay, died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY.
Born April 29, 1930 in Danville, KY, he was the son of the late James and Minnie (Jones) Lay. He was a Cricketeer Mfg. Co. quality inspector and a member of the Bohon Church of Christ.
Other survivors include: a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Joyce Wickersham. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Edward, Ernest, Donald, Dallas, and Kenneth Lay, and one sister, Rose Owens.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 5 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Julius Hovan and Frank Preston with burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Perryville.
Pallbearers are Andrew Lawyer, Jason Cochran, Don Bugg, Gary Durr, Jackie Claycomb, amd Jerry Burns.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Bohon Church of Christ Building Fund.
