Obituary of James Frank Carpenter

James Frank Carpenter, age 92, E. Factory, Harrodsburg, widower of Jane Royalty Carpenter, died Monday, September 10, 2007 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born April 17, 1915 in Lewisburg, KY, he was the son of the late Frank and Ina Rebecca (Dugan) Carpenter. He served in the Army during World War II. He was retired General Manager for Continental Trailways Western Division and a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church and was a 32nd degree Mason. Survivors include: Special Friend, Beulah Young; Cousin, Martha Downing of Winchester, OH; Brother-in-law, Roscoe Royalty and Sister-in-Law, Ellen Faye Adkinson both of Harrodsburg, KY. Graveside Services will be conducted 3:30 PM, Wednesday, September 12 at the Spring Hill Cemetery by Ken Klemme with burial to follow.
