Josephine Devine, age 76, 524 Mooreland Ave., Harrodsburg, wife of Forrest B. Devine, died Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born April 9, 1931 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Thurman (Big Daddy) and Ruth (Sanders) Goodlett. She was a homemaker, baker and seamstress, as well as a volunteer. Josephine was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and the Mercer Senior Citizens.
Other survivors include a daughter: Kathy (Tony) Pankey of Harrodsburg, KY and a son: Mark Devine of Goshen, OH; one sister: Elois Woods of Salvisa, Grandchildren, Ian and Emily Devine, Angie Pankey, Neal (Christy) Pankey, Andrew and Suni Ashton. Predeceased by two brothers Arthur E. and Truman Goodlett.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 AM, Wednesday, September 12 at the Fellowship Baptist Church by James Harley and Joe Cooper, with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 11 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, and Wednesday 9:30 am until time of service at Fellowship Church.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Haggin Memorial Hospital, Mercer Senior Citizens or Fellowship Baptist Chruch.
