George Alonzo Hayden, age 57, 304 Runyon Rd., Harrodsburg, husband of Joan Ann Preston Hayden, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Haggin Memorial Hospital, Harrodsburg, KY.
Born August 4, 1950 in Paducah, KY, he was the son of the late James William, Sr. and Elizabeth Julia Gibbons Hayden. He served in the Marine Corps Reserves and was a former L & N Railroad employee. Lonnie was a member of the Catholic Church.
Other survivors include: two sisters: Julia Frances Cecil of Louisville, and Mary Joan Azinger of Oregon and one brother: Leonard Agustus Hayden of Jacksonville, FL; . Predeceased by a son: Michael Thomas Hayden, and two brothers: James William, Jr. & Joseph Herbert Hayden.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 3 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Father Danny Schwendeman with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa, KY.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
