Obituary of Perry W. Howard

Perry W. Howard, age 56, Harrodsburg, husband of Freida Combs Howard, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the Saint Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY. Born March 10, 1951 in Mercer County, KY, he was the son of the late Harney “Red” and Pauline (McCoun) Howard Jr. He was married to Freida Combs. He was a retired shipping clerk from Trane and a member of the Ebenezer Church of Christ. Survivors include: his wife: Freida (Combs) Howard, and two sons: Scott (Cheryl) Howard of Harrodsburg, KY, Chad (Staci) Howard of Walton, KY; two brothers: Jimmy (Yvonnia) Howard and Steven Lynn Howard both of Harrodsburg, KY; Mother-in-law, Leola Combs and four Grandchildren, Lindsey Howard, Kylie Howard, Brady Howard and Mason Howard. He was predeceased by a sister: Joy Sue Howard. Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 PM, Wednesday, October 3 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John Kesel and Terry Morrison. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa. Pallbearers are: Troy Howard, Lee Darland, Johnny Halderman, Tom Gullion, Hobert Cheatham and Larry Petyon. Honorary Bearers are: Dr. George Noe, J.C. Sawyers, Michael Bates, Bobby Ross, Michael Buchanan, Lindon Smith Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2 after 5:00 PM and Wednesday prior to Service at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heritage Hospice, Ebenezer Cemetery Fund.
